About the Accommodation

During the summer months, we welcome hundreds of guests to our student residences (halls) for those wanting short stays within the heart of the historic city of Lincoln.

For summer 2025, we have teamed up with The Ministry of Steampunk to provide accommodation for those wishing to stay in the city of Lincoln for AXV – Weekend at The Asylum to offering exclusive 3-night, 4-night and 5-night packages in our student residences providing good quality and affordable accommodation over the Bank Holiday weekend.

We are also working to provide wristband collection at our site for those accommodated on our campus. Watch this space!

Get your bearings?

Our accommodation in our St Marks Student Village is a short walk from Lincoln High Street as well as the Transport Hub (10-mins) as will as a 25/30-minute walk to the Asylum based in Lincoln Castle. Other activities are being planned for the Engine Shed on our campus (5min walk) and there is potential of a shuttle bus pick up point to take you straight to the action. We are an ideal location for the weekend.

Rooms in St Marks are in eight-bed or ten-bed or twelve-bed apartments which means you can share with other asylum ‘flatmates’ adding to the fun of the weekend.

Pricing starts from £80 per night.

About The Rooms

En-suite bedrooms with ¾ beds (small double)

All rooms are single occupancy and include bedding, towels and toilet paper so a few less things to bring with you! However, if you wish to have two people staying in a room, you are welcome to, just please just purchase an extra towel pack or bring an extra towel with you.

Please note, two is our maximum occupancy. Those with under 18s, particularly babies and small children, will not be able to share a room with two other adults due to the size. An additional room will need to be purchased, noting that the rooms are not adjoining/ interconnected and we are not able to provide cot beds or any facilities for young children such as highchairs.

For those under 18s, you will need to ensure that one of your party is over the age of 18.

Each apartment contains a shared self-catered kitchen/diner, which comes equipped with a toaster, kettle, microwave and fridge if you want to self-cater or be a bit more DIY with your plans. There’s a Morrisons just minutes’ walk from the front door for anything you may need. If you do wish to self-cater, please note that no kitchen utensils or crockery are provided.
