The University of Lincoln is proud to be working with The Ministry of Steampunk to provide accommodation for those wishing to stay in the city of Lincoln for AXV – Weekend at The Asylum.

Offering exclusive 3-night, 4-night and 5-night packages in St Marks accommodation, providing good quality and affordable accommodation over the Bank Holiday weekend.

We are also working to provide wristband collection on site, as well as shuttle bus transport.

St Marks

St Marks is a contemporary, city based accommodation made up of eight, ten, or twelve-bed apartments. All rooms are en-suite with a small double bed, fitted wardrobe, desk and drawers. Apartments include a communal kitchen and living area which has a television.

Pricing starts from £80 per night, for the weekend.

Getting Around

St Mark is located a short walk from Lincoln High Street and the Transport Hub (10-mins). It takes 25/30-minutes to walk to the Asylum event, based in Lincoln Castle. This walk involves an incline. There is good transport links for those who do not wish to walk. Other activities are being planned for the Engine Shed, located on the University campus (5min walk), and there is potential of a shuttle bus pick up point to take you straight to the action.

About the Rooms

All rooms are single occupancy en-suite bedrooms with small double beds and include bedding, towels and toilet paper. If you wish to have two people staying in a room, you are welcome to, but please either purchase an extra towel pack or bring an extra towel with you.

Each apartment contains a shared self-catered kitchen and living room, which comes equipped with a toaster, kettle, microwave, oven and hob and fridge. There is also a cleaning cupboard with iron and ironing board and a communal television.

There’s a Morrisons just minutes’ walk from the front door for anything you may need. If you do wish to self-cater, please note that no kitchen utensils or crockery are provided.

Please note, two is our maximum occupancy. Those with under 18s, particularly babies and small children, will not be able to share a room with two other adults due to the size. An additional room will need to be purchased, noting that the rooms are not adjoining/interconnected and we are not able to provide cot beds or any facilities for young children such as highchairs. For those under 18s, you will need to ensure that one of your party is over the age of 18.
